I would like to apologize for the long delay since our last entry. Our team often gets caught up in the research process and some of our researchers lives move at a slower pace than the rest of humanity, so they don’t always relate well to mankind’s perception of the normal passage of time. This is in spite of many heated discussions regarding productivity. I digress and that’s the last apology you’ll hear from me on our often retarded pace. Those of you monitoring RSS Feeds, I promise that even though the postings may sometimes be several weeks apart, they will always come.

Many of you have pointed out in your correspondence with me that the nature of our work is very Fortean in nature, and with this point we cannot argue. We find a certain irony in the fact that Charles Fort came and went long after some of our members began their work. However, Mr. Fort did an excellent job of quantifying the nature of the type of history we find ourselves compelled to bring to you. We share what we find with you because we think people have a right to know, but rest assured that we are digging for something more self-serving and when we find it, by your perception we may vanish. I’d like to think that our goal is around the corner, but our group has been at this for several hundred years and there is no way to know when we will achieve the completion of our quest.

From this point forward, our posts are going to be more abbreviated in the interest of getting them published quicker. We will return to the postings and add additional information as time allows.

In what appears to be a continuation of the cascading release of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena files from various governments, the British MoD let several hundred megabytes of documentation fly today. Much of it we already had, and in fact some of it we had to let them borrow as they had of course misplaced it. Rest assured that now that they’ve made it public, we feel added pressure to cull out the highlights and share them with you. Unfortunately, unlike the United States’ documents on the subject, it is replete with uncorroborated tales submitted by various schizophrenic personalities. This becomes tricky, because often times a true story easily falls into that category as well, thus the need for proof of some kind.

Welcome to Immortal Count. I am part of a small dedicated group of historical explorers that have amassed through research and personal experience a sizable collection of legends, myths and folklore. I have been asked to open our archives and share past stories of conspiracies, unidentified aerial phenomena, unidentified submerged phenomena, and fascinating accounts of encounters with the dead. In addition to this at their instruction I will also draw your eye to events happening even today that may in the future pass into the realm of legend. Our group bears no interest in stories that lack proof. Proof doesn’t always tell you what happened, but without proof the stories are often subject to wild speculation about their veracity and we feel this undermines the significance of the true stories that have grown to become legendary. Many of these legends are not difficult to find if you know where to look. Others are not so easy. We’ll have them all here.

We are open to and in fact seeking out any information relating to both current and past mythology that has somehow escaped our attention. Our research sometimes has a blind spot in what we refer to as small locality folklore. Submissions will be evaluated based on the nature of the legend as well as the supporting evidence before they are published here. Plagiarism will not be tolerated, please educate yourself before posting. It is always a danger when dealing with legends and tales that have been written about so much. Additionally, our group employs sophisticated software to track the piracy of our words. If we catch you copying our text you will be more than prosecuted. Permission to copy text is frequently granted, but please ask first.

We dedicate this journal to the noted chemist and illegitimate son of The Prince of Transylvania and his mistress the widowed Queen consort of Spain, Maria Anna. He was mentored and raised by the Grand Duke Gaston, the last of the Medici, and he founded the Rosicrucian Order. The name he lives under now is a closely guarded secret, but in the past he was most commonly referred to as Master Racoczi, The Count of Saint Germain.

It is our hope that this online journal will find it’s way to the study of a particular confidant of The Count. A friend he was separated from following an ill-fated experiment commissioned by the Holy Roman Empress Maria Theresa some time ago at the Saltion Lake in Croatia. If you’re out there we ask that you reach out to us. Te moći sigurnost nama.

In the future we hope to provide podcast interviews with our researchers and witnesses to unusual events as well as visual media. Our efforts to keep up with the lightning pace of technology are quite tiresome so please bear with us.

All comments are moderated so please allow time for them to be approved. Rude or inappropriate comments will be deleted at our discretion.

We’ll see you in time.
